Brian Bowen Smith: Projects

Brian Bowen Smith, once assistant to Herb Ritts is soon to release his first Monograph featuring a host of celebrity portraits including Warren Beatty, Orlando Bloom, Cindy Crawford, Sheryl Crow, Brooke Shields, Demi Moore and James Franco to name but a few. He was much more than an assistant, Ritts became his friend and mentor and as you see from his work, he nurtured a truly talented artist.

As a former PRO athlete, Smith was discovered by Ritts and asked to model in a GAP campaign, soon after the friendship and incredible working relationship began. Smith, originally from New York is now living in Los Angeles with his wife and son.

PROJECTS is due for release on 31st March, 2o13 in hardback at around $60.00 or you can pre-order at Amazon below. Definitely one for the collection.
